Dr. Mittal is a highly qualified specialist orthodontist Burton-on-Trent and the surrounding areas of Belper and Leek. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002, and after gaining experience in general dentistry, he began his Senior House Officer training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery posts in the UK in 2005. This involved rotations through various Orthodontic departments, sparking his interest in Orthodontics. He undertook the role of Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield, and earned his Masters in Clinical Dentistry (MClin.Dent.) with merit from the University of Sheffield in 2011. Subsequently, he achieved his MOrth RCS Edinburgh qualification, with additional training, and his FDSOrth RCS England in 2015. He began his NHS Consultant post in Orthodontics at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals in 2015 and continued at the Royal Derby Hospital. As part of his consultant role, he participated in teaching and training orthodontic specialty registrars and dental therapists. Dr. Mittal is a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons England and Edinburgh, in addition to being an Orthodontic Society member.
